Jai Johnston started to DJ over 20 years ago and his wisdom and that experience shows. 
Growing up in texas the Austin, Texas Hip-hop scene Jai came up with a number of southern acts and has grown to expand his sound across a diverse expanse of musical genres.  

A deep down lover of music Jai draws inspiration from a far-reaching set of artists…  From the classic rock sensibilities of Led Zeppelin & Rush to the soulful pop sensations of Stevie Wonder & Marvin Gaye, he displays his diversity of sound at every event catering to the crowd in emotive and positive ways unlike the typical disc jockey.   When asked about his taste Jai will respond with names like Zap, Masters At Work, Prince and Stevie Ray Vaughn all in the same sentence which clearly illustrates he is more a musician than a simple “hits machine” or “human jukebox”. 

This directly led to him being booked in many big events such as the Closer Music Festival, the Pacific Northwest House Music Conference, and opening for a multitude of major touring Musicians and DJ’s over the course of his career.

Jai started spinning weddings in 2008 because, in his own words, “I love all genres of music and absolutely love the open, all around format of weddings”.  He continues by saying, ” It’s a tremendously special day for people and I am lucky to have the extraordinary ability to enhance that experience for all in attendance”.
